Kathi and Tonya are here today with details on the upcoming “Great 100 Item Cupboard Clean-Out!” On Wednesday January 26th, Kathi Lipp and Tonya Kubo are hosting a friendly challenge in Clutter Free Academy. You mission, should you choose to accept it: get rid of 100 items in your kitchen. It’s time to throw out those extra soy sauce packets, expired items, donate-able items, and takeout menus (you can find those menus on the Internet anyway). Listen in as the pair give all the details and guidelines for a successful kitchen clean-out.
Now, gather your supplies – some of Kathi’s go-to suggestions include:
- Garbage can/recycling can
- A box for food bank donations
- A black marker and labeling tape
- Plastic containers (Kathi’s favorite are the OXO Containers)

Getting Out the Door Busy Morning Breakfast Guide
Do you have breakfast on the go, or do you go without breakfast? I am guessing most of us, or if you do not skip breakfast than you might fall into the "eat the granola bar with your coffee as you walk into work or drive the kiddos around" category. Let’s face it our...
Getting Out the Door: It’s All About the Night Before
I am not what you would call a "morning person". I don't function well first thing, but also don't have a ton of time to become fully alert. That's why I think the most important thing about getting out the door is getting ready the night before, (or in the early...

One of the big reasons I started this blog, (or write books, or speak at events,) is because we all struggle, and I find in sharing our struggle, and working beyond it, we grow in strength. The best sentence a friend can say to another friend is "Me too!" When...

Thank you Tonya and Kathi for the inspiration. I am motivated and challenged by this episode. Already got my game plan ready.
I will be getting rid of ingredients that I bought for a specific baking purpose that I never used. Also, I’m trying to organize my pantry into categories better!
I’m not sure how to post a picture on here, but I got rid of a ton of expired foods, ketchup packets, and old baking ingredients!
I’m chuckling because I heard this shortly after we had to move everything out of our pantry and kitchen cupboards so we could fumigate for borer (think termites but not quite as destructive). We certainly got rid of heaps of cutlery and some mugs we hated.
Oh I had to laugh because I just donated an unopened bag of quinoa a few weeks ago!! Looking forward to 1/26! Keep up the good work and encouragement!
