I want to encourage others, let them know they matter and are seen and are loved. I agree with the guest. Hannah, I am most proud of this in ny one on one meeting nd relationships. In the faces of my family. Friends. The checkout person I take time to connect with and encourage. It is nice to be complimented by lots, but when the face of your daughter praises me, now that is memorable and keeps me going.
I love this!
I’d love to have a positive impact with moms in my local community. I think we have been hearing the message of “not enough” for too long that moms are feeling so pressure to do all the things and this is not a healthy place for families. I’d love to start with the example in my own family.
Yes!!
I am being called to help women leaving abusive relationships, single moms, and to write
This is wonderful!!
The words about reaching the one in front of you are so encouraging. God gave me a passion for children, and God gave a friend of mine a passion for single moms. Thus, Survive & Thrive was formed (a single parent ministry). There are times we wonder if we’re making a difference. Sometimes we have 1 mom at our weekly dinner and study and sometimes we have 4 or 5. I’m going to use “Reaching the one in front of you” (whether that be a mom or a child) as our vision for this fall. Thank you!!!!
Thank you for all you’re doing through your ministry!
Your question at the end is where I struggle. I have never known what I wanted to be when I grew up. Now that I am a grown up I still don’t know. My career took a turn, I got fired, and have not been able to return to the profession. I don’t know that I would want to now. I am working in a different field now and enjoy what I do but it isn’t a calling. Sometimes I wish that God would just put up a sign that I could see and point me in the direction I need to be going. I envy but rejoice in all of you who have found your passion and go for it!
Keep seeking, girlfriend!
My huge aim is to make a difference in my legacy. I want my child to be raised strong, confident, and knowing how much love surrounds him. I want him to understand that his life is truly worth living and that God created him to make a difference in this world.
Love this!!
