So I just finished Surviving Summer Vacation. I really enjoyed it. One of the most important points for me was that this book is applicable to children of all ages. So many times I get a book that focuses only on toddlers/ preschoolers or early elementary. We have outgrown that stage. My 14 year old is 6’3″, so we have literally outgrown that.
I am making a plan using a number of these ideas, including a salsa garden.
