Flash: The Homeless Donkey Who Taught Me about Life, Faith, and Second Chances (Adventures of Flash the Donkey) by Rachel Anne Ridge
Roger says my favorite genre of books is “Chicken Lit.” Put a barn animal in between two book covers and I’m a sucker for it. I loved this story of a woman’s life turned upside down by a stubborn donkey and all that she learned from Flash who just wanted to run with the stallions. Delightful and deep. – Recommended by Kathi Lipp

Hello! Signed up for the Husband Project Study, looking forward to learn ways to bless my hubby and our marriage. Just finished reading Henry Cloud’s The Power of the Other – AMAZING! And reading Bob Merritt’s Get Wise. Putting all the things I’m learning together to work with others encouraging them to be the very best they can be! Thanks Kathi!
The most recent book I read was Everyday Faith #FOCUSed15 study by Katie Orr. Dug deep into Hebrews in only 15 minutes a day. Would highly recommend this book. 4 Stars!!
I am loving to read any marriage helping books I can right now. I am trying to get a women’s group started with encouraging women on how to have a better marriage. I love to to study and listen to pod casts that are helpful in this area. I feel God is asking me to do this, and I pass on many books. I am hoping to use this book as a tool. Thanks so much!
I’m reading The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin and the bible study book ‘Don’t Make Me Count To Three’. Then hoping to join you in your ‘THP’ study.
I am reading “Rising Strong” by Brene Brown; “Unstuffed” by Ruth Soukup (to go with my Clutter Free endeavors!); and “North and South” by Elizabeth Gaskell. A little of this and a little of that! I am thinking about grabbin some friends to do The Husband Project with me, so I’d love to win a copy!
I am excited to do the OBS! I didn’t get a good chance to look a all of your books at Hearts At Home but I knew I was interested in reading The Husband Project!
I listened to your session at Hearts at Home and have been waiting/praying for the right person to partner with me in starting it. This is a great opportunity – thank you!
I am reading Beautiful Mercy written by many contributing authors including Matthew Kelly. It is a wonderful book full of practical tips on how we can carry out the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy in our everyday lives.
I am reading one thousand gifts by Ann Voskamp. It teaches how living in a state of gratitude is the secret to having a life of joy. The book is challenging and addresses being thankful through life’s major disappointments as well as the small ones…like how my two year old just dumped out an entire box of cereal as I’m typing this right now. Haha! I’m thankful for a child healthy enough to dump out cereal!! See- it works.
Paige, you’re the winner!! My assistant will contact you to get your address.
Excited to follow this study to strengthen and bring excitement to our marriage as we enter a new season of empty nest
I have been married 34 years this summer and always am looking for new ways to strengthen my marriage. I think this study could be a challenge though!
I am getting ready to teach the Fight Back With Joy bible study at the end of the month. Can’t wait to see what God has planned.
I can’t wait for the OBS The Husband Project. In the business of life, it is so easy to put your marriage to the side deal with work and kids. I want to make sure my husband and marriage are a priority in my life!
