Kathi is back today for part 2 of “What to Watch While You Declutter” with author and host of “The Couch with Mary Carver” podcast, Mary Carver. Last week, in part 1, the pair gave us criteria for shows we should avoid trying to declutter to. Today, they bring us hope by telling us what we should look for in a show to decluttering to, as well as a ton of great shows they personally recommend. Listen in as Kathi and Mary explain the categories:
- Competition Shows
- “60%” Shows
- Treadmill Shows
Once you have found your 22-minute declutter show, Kathi explains how to make that timeframe work with the Clutter Free Academy method of decluttering for 15 minutes; and you are going to love how she suggests spending the extra 7 minutes.
What show will be your new decluttering show? Tell us in the comments and be automatically entered to win a copy of Mary Carver’s new (in)Courage Bible Study book: “Create in Me a Heart of Hope.”

The Clutter Free Home: Making Room for Your Life
When it comes to your home, peace is possible…
Longing for a place of peace from which you can love others well? The Clutter-Free Home is your room-by-room guide to decluttering, reclaiming, and celebrating every space of your home.
Let author Kathi Lipp (who once lived a life buried in clutter) walk you through each room of your house to create organizational zones that are not only functional and practical but create places of peace that reflect your personality. Kathi will help you tackle the four-step process of dedicate, decide, declutter and “do-your-thing” to reveal the home you’ve always dreamed of, and then transform it into a haven that reflects who you truly are meant to be.

I actually like to watch Hoarders while decluttering (or online shopping)…. it makes me want less stuff!! I’ve found i can’t watch British mysteries or any intense crime dramas because my attention is too divided!!
Guy’S grocery game. Looks fun
Oh my goodness! So many shows I’ve never even heard of! Please don’t make me pick just one! ? I would also love to read Mary Carver’s book! Thank you for your podcast!
I’m hoping to watch How I Met Your Father while decluttering.
My new decluttering show will be Guy’s Grocery Games!
Honestly I don’t have a declutter show to recommend because I haven’t tried watching anything while decluttering. Usually I listen to a podcast. I have enjoyed listening to the show recommendations in the last two podcasts. Thanks!
