Kathi and her best friend, Roger Lipp, are taking the clutter free journey back to the basics. Do you need specific criteria to guide your decision making for what to keep and what to get rid of? Kathi and Roger are here to remind us of the three clarifying questions we should be asking ourselves as we declutter. Join in the conversation to learn the art of how to keep the best and get rid of the rest by knowing and practicing these three questions as you declutter:
- Do I love it?
- Do I use it?
- Would I buy it again?
Listen in as Kathi and Roger explain how asking yourself these three questions can get you past the mental block of clearing out your clutter.

I just finished this episode with the three questions and Roger said something that made me think of #4…if it went missing would I notice? This helps me because I have a hard time setting things free. But I know I have to decanter. It also helps because I have a couple of trusted friends who I allow to come help me with decluttering. And I tell them they have permission to get rid of things in thw area we are working on because I’m most likely not going to notice it’s gone.
I enjoyed this succinct refresher on the 3 decluttering questions. It was nice to hear a husband’s perspective on the decluttering journey and Roger’s smooth voice was a delightful addition to Kathi’s lively one. I also appreciate how professional Kathi Lipp’s podcasts are from the upbeat intro music to the positive closing. I look forward to listening to more Kathi and Roger podcasts as I declutter my home.
