After to listening to these three parts on the power hour, I have decided to add in one area of prep to counteract the chaos of dinners. First I made a 3 week rotating menu (you said it’s ok to eat the same thing), then I prepped the meat on day 1 for the whole week. So, I cooked 5# of hamburger then divided it up into its meals. I plan to slowly add more to my power hour and hopefully add in the kids too!
Doing things the night before has helped me not feel so disorganized in the morning. I make sure the dishwasher is cleared. I make sure my counters are cleared. And here’s the big one: I empty the ice cube trays! We don’t have an ice maker and we go though lots of ice, especially in the summer. I also prep my morning smoothie in the small blender jar, if it’s on my breakfast menu. Thanks for all the great ideas! Love your podcast!
