Today is the day to catch up! I know that I will be working hard on sending out Christmas cards. What will you be working on?
- Wrapping gifts
- Ordering gifts
- Pulling together your recipes
- Creating a shopping list
Let me know here on the blog or on my Facebook Author Page what you will be catching up on and I will enter you into the drawing to win THE “WHAT’S FOR DINNER?” SOLUTION for yourself or as a wrapped gift that I will send to someone on your list.
We put up our new, prelit tree and “fluffed” it. We have the decorations ready to go, but my teen didn’t get home from her day with a relative until late, so we will decorate tonight.
The photos for our cards are ready to pick up on Tuesday, when Walgreens offers 20% off photos for military families.
I planned to research my shutter fly order to find out why the heck my order of 25 Christmas cards have not yet arrived. I thought they would have arrived by now but found out they’re expected to arrive on Monday. Oops… I guess all this fun planning is making me a little overzealous. I’m excited to post one on Facebook (and let my Facebook friends know they should consider it their Christmas card this year) and for those friends or family not on Facebook, I will distribute the 25 Christmas cards I ordered.
Today I will be working on catching up days 3-12. Yes, I’m a bit behind…. Ok, maybe I have Christmas cards, but I need to get my list together…. Crazy year, but thankful nontheless!! Hubby is decorating the outside of the house.
I will be finalizing the Christmas Card/Letter/Cookie Tray lists, collecting recipes, and planning the next few weeks of family nights. We will also be decorating this evening…but I must nap first. 🙂
Today I am trying to convince my teenager to help me figure out mail merge with the hopes of getting my cards done.
Yesterday my husband took the day off and we had a “date day of shopping” and got most of our gifts done. He only freaked a couple times, but considering we shopped for 6 hours I’d say it was a good day.
Loving this challenge, it has made such a difference! I feel like things are under control and I am way ahead of the game this year. Thanks so much Kathi!
At some point today, I will finish addressing my Christmas cards and get the second batch in the mail! OH and update my christmas card address spread sheet.
My, oh my. Don’t know how it happened but I’m still so far behind! Christmas cards are ordered but not yet arrived and I have NO IDEA what to get hubby for Christmas so I guess that’s at the top of my list this week!
Goodness gracious, I need to catch up! I will be making choices, finishing an online photo project, and shopping. Thanks for all the organizational tools, know how and encouragement!
I’ll be making Limoncello to gift to my friends, getting a tree to decorate and making photo calendars online for grandparents.
