In Celebrations of Valentines Day, here is one of my most requested articles:
Unique Ways to Say I Love You on Valentines Day
Today – I want you to leave a Valentine in the comments – Tell me why you love that special person in your life – Declare your love to the world! And then give them the link! (Everyone love knowing they have been bragged on in public!)
And to each of you – Thanks for sharing your love and wisdom here. You each are a blessing to me.
Well, you know I fell for my husband hard and fast (then spent 6 years making sure he was “the one”). He has been the one that stands by me day in and day out for almost 24 years (nearly 18 of them married!). He puts up with my “bright shiny object syndrome”, “that’s on my list of things to do… tomorrow….”, and “I’m so sorry, but I seem to be running about 10-15 minutes late” (God only knows how many hours the man has spent waiting for me), plus “oh, Yes, I did see your request to pick that up at Safeway but I forgot it…”, and more. If patience is a virtue, he’s on track for sainthood some day. I value his integrity, commitment and passion so much. He’s mostly good humored, and we can laugh about our faults, which is a nice feeling, though it’s taken some time to get there :). Wouldn’t trade him for the world!
For YOU, my dear friend, I also have a valentine “love note”: (haiku for you)-
Faithful friend laughs hard
Helps women seek God’s purpose
Wit, warmth, faith shine bright
(This could be a variation on the send your man a love note/post it note idea. Line 1 must be 5 syllables, line 2 must be 7 syllables, line 3 must be 5 syllables.) So funny you asked for Valentine’s notes…great minds and all that!
This is our 46th Valentine’s Day together, and I can honestly say, I love my husband more every year. I would not change a minute of my life, if it meant changing the relationship we have now. I love who we are together.
I am so thankful to be celebrating my 20th Valentine’s Day with Scott. He is handsome, smart, Godly, a good dad, and my friend.
Sometimes, I am sure he would sell me on Ebay if the shipping fees weren’t so high, but I am glad that he is the one I call “sweetheart”.
I love my man because he”s awesome! He’s soo loveable, and sometimes grumpy. He’s such a hard worker, and he knows how to relax and have fun. He’s a good dad, and yet we don’t always agree on parenting techniques. He takes care of our house, but lets the honey-do list grow longer than I want it to sometimes. He’s tough and smart, yet so gentle and goofy sometimes. He has my heart and will forever be my true love.
