Sometimes my husband gets stuck.
Whether it’s in an old addiction that is trying to get a hold of him, a way of thinking that leaves him believing he can’t change anything in his life, a job he hates, or in a relationship that he knows isn’t good for him, sometimes my husband gets stuck.
I encourage him and love on him, but there are just some days where he feels like he can’t make the changes he wants, or needs to make.
So I pray that he would start believing God for the power to change. That he would abandon his old ways of thinking, (“I’ll never.” “I can’t.”) and start thinking in the way that God designed him to think; That all things are possible for those who believe him.
SCRIPTURE
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.
— Romans 12:2

Praying for my husband who just got a new boss who is not the nicest person… praying hubby will work as unto the Lord instead of just unto the boss. Also, was immediately “tested” after yesterday’s prayer!!! Both hubby & I were feeling grumpy, tired & stressed yesterday morning trying to get kids ready & out the door. Hubby was a little “short” with kids & I normally would’ve griped at him but I held my tongue & kept saying over & over in my head “if I used twice as many words praying for him instead of nagging…” We parted ways without any further escalation of our emotions & later on we had a very good conversation about the morning. Thank you for your words & prayer yesterday!!! It came in perfect timing & was an AWESOME way to start the day!!!

Praying for my husband today that He would know that God is delighted in him and loves him gracefully. In early 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and he was my strong support that helped me move through the diagnosis, surgery and treatment. Then also through a hysterectomy that was unrelated to the cancer. It was not always easy for him. It brought back memories of his own cancer diagnosis and 14 month treatment in 1987 when we were first married. God is merciful, gracious and strong! We are both grateful for the power of prayer that made a huge difference in both of our cancer stories!
Today I surrender to God.. Me and my marriage! I pray that I learn to be the wife God intends for me and that my marriage is transformed because I am changing!

My husband is working on making our ministry to the next level. We haven’t seem a lot of growth in our class and he has some big dreams and ideas. He is a great pastor and I’m proud and excited to see what God will do through him!
I am praying this for my husband that God will encourage him in the area of a job. He lost his job a few months back and needs my encouragement…but honestly I find my own self discouraged at times. I am praying that God helps Him to believe again that he can get back up again.
I am praying that my husband will remain strong and keep doing the right thing – inspite of worldly influences around him. That he will continue to look to and lean on God.
My husband keeps volunteering for everything they need help for at the schools, work, extended family and church and is missing out on time with his family then needs time to unwind at night and stays up half the night then can’t get up the next morning. I worry about him! : (
I lost my job last week and am 5 month pregnant with our 3rd child. My husband works 2 jobs and had just recently applied for higher paying position. My prayer for him is that he won’t loose sight of God and his plans through all of these transitions. God’s plan is always better than ours, and so is his timing.
I am praying for my husband to know God and become a believer.
I prayed for my husband to believe in God’s plan and to give him comfidence in all he does 🙂
My husband is in his last semester of school. He is getting his masters degree and with a full time job and a family it is hard to do all things. I pray for his guidance to be able to do all that he needs to do.
I am praying that my husband will claim his talent as a coach and seek opportunities God reveals even if he doesn’t feel qualified.
I am praying that husband would know how special he is to God, to realize how powerless he is to change on his own but to know that he can change with God. I am also praying that he would know how special he is to me just the way God made him, a Christian under construction.
Praying for my husband that he will know…* (but it’s personal 😉 thanks for this challenge Kathy!
My husband is great at his job, enjoys it and is very creative. Because he is sanguine and wants to be like by everyone, he sometimes skirts conflict, instead, letting the situation fester so that later on it’s harder to deal with. I pray that he will be willing to suffer a little bit of dislike early on so that situations don’t get worse before he has to deal with them. And that he’ll have wisdom and discernment to handle those situations biblically and head on when necessary.
I’m caught up from a delayed start 🙂 I am praying for my husband this week. Thanks for providing a little direction Kathi. 🙂
I pray that my husband would continue on this path of showing His outward committment to the Lord in all that he does. He’s grown so much this year and it blesses my heart!

I pray that my husband will find peace with his job situation. He is stuck in a job he hates, and applied for a new job he wanted very badly, but didn’t even get an opportunity to interview for the new job before finding out it was filled very quickly. Long story short, he feels awful about himself right now. I pray that God would show him that His timing is always perfect, and that His love would hold him up during these rough times.
I pray my husbwnd will preach and teach what God wants the church to hear, NOT what the church thinks it wants to hear. 🙂
My husband is finishing up his bachelor’s degree (after a 20 year break). Praying for wisdom, clarity, and favor with the teachers.
My husband has launched a company and I am praying for him so intently. I know that he is so smart and that happiness and strength will come and God is handling this for him. Patience and goodwill comes to those who wait. Thank you Kathi for helping us pray for our husbands because they work so hard for us.
